Transforming medical innovations currently at the prototype stage into reality to better combat the threat of Emerging Infectious Diseases & AMR

IDCluster’s purpose is to accelerate the market launch of innovative products for patients or to accelerate the use of solutions for public authorities in the two areas of MIE and AMR, by transforming accelerated R&D projects from their prototype stage into reality.

Objectives of IDCluster’s innovation stimulation initiatives:

Address unmet medical needs in terms of emerging infectious diseases and AMR pandemic risks (“Major EID & AMR challenges”)

Transform emerging academic or economic projects (“Promising” projects) into more mature TRL 4 R&D projects, prior to their acceleration by IDCluster

IDCluster’s missions:

Leverage the EID & AMR ecosystem to identify key themes and innovations and foster connections between different stakeholders (working groups, forums, workshops, training sessions, etc.).
Proactively identify or initiate projects on a given theme.
Promote its activities so that all stakeholders in the IED & AMR ecosystem are informed of its objectives and actions.
Pre-accelerate promising projects to enable them to benefit as quickly as possible from acceleration by IDCluster through:
- Providing expertise to help them mature,
- Connecting project leaders who are members of IDCluster,
- Connecting with the founders and partners of IDCluster,
- Connecting with the public authorities in charge of pandemic preparedness,
- Access to data from the ID360 Observatory,
- Preparation of the project’s application for acceleration by IDCluster (including “France 2030” funding).

These various actions to stimulate innovation will be carried out in collaboration with IDCluster’s founders and partners.
